Who this covers
BuiltRelay LLC operates the BuiltRelay website and early-access business workspace. This notice explains information handled through those services. Businesses using BuiltRelay to collect inquiries are responsible for their own customer notices and handling of those inquiries.
Information used
When you sign in, our authentication service provides an account identifier and, depending on your authorization, your email and profile information. We store business facts, setup plans, websites, uploaded files, forms, inquiries, quotes, tasks, support requests and other records you choose to save. Technical service logs can include request details, errors, device/browser information and network addresses needed to operate and protect the service.
How information is used
Information is used to provide your workspace, save and publish content you approve, receive form submissions, maintain records, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and investigate failures. A support request shares the fields you submit and your account contact email with BuiltRelay support. Support replies currently appear in the workspace; email notifications are not guaranteed.
Public content and customer inquiries
Publishing a site or form makes the approved content available to people with the public link and potentially search engines. Do not publish private information. Submitted inquiries are stored for the business receiving the form. To ask that business to change or remove an inquiry, contact it using its published contact information. Removing a publication cannot erase copies already downloaded or indexed elsewhere.
Service providers and optional connections
Hosting, authentication, storage and AI processing rely on service providers, including AppDeploy. Your selected sign-in provider processes authentication under its own terms. If you authorize a supported Google or Microsoft mailbox connection, the service processes the permissions and credentials needed to maintain it and retrieve the supported read-only message information. Connection availability depends on provider setup. Disconnect in Connections and review permissions with your provider. External domain, mailbox, advertising and payment services have their own policies.
AI features
When you choose an AI feature, the prompt and business context identified by that feature are sent through our service to its configured AI provider. Review the sharing notice before proceeding. Do not include confidential information you are not authorized to share. AI responses may be inaccurate. This notice does not promise that every external provider has the same retention or model-training practices; request details before submitting sensitive material.
Browser storage and recovery
Your browser stores drafts and session information so the editor and sign-in can work. Clearing browser data can remove local drafts. Cloud records are separate. Recovery copies can retain older versions independently of live records. Optional daily cloud-record recovery requires opt-in and keeps up to seven verified copies with the displayed rolling-retention consent. Website backups are separate. Recovery depends on service availability; keep your own exported copy.
Retention, choices and requests
Saved records remain until removed through available controls or through a reviewed support request, subject to operational, security and legal needs. Some records and copies require separate removal; sign-out alone does not delete cloud records. Use Owner records and backup tools for supported exports. Contact us to request access, correction, account closure or deletion, including relevant backup copies. We may verify your identity and clarify the affected records. Applicable law may give you additional rights; no rights are waived by this notice.
Security and intended audience
Account-scoped controls limit access to private workspace records, but no online service guarantees absolute security or uninterrupted availability. This business service is intended for adults, not children under 13. Do not submit sensitive health information, government identifiers or full payment-card details. Contact us if such information was submitted by mistake.
Changes
We will update the date on this notice when it changes. Material changes to how information is used will be communicated through the service or account contact channels as appropriate. Newly proposed uses will not be treated as already authorized merely because this page changes.
